  • For customers attending the match, it is advisable to take the earliest service possible into Cardiff as train services in the area will be busy all day.
  • We ask customers to buy a ticket before they board the train and to buy a return ticket on their outward journey if planning to take the train home
  • Extra capacity will be added where possible, howevercustomers are advised to check their last train home
  • After the match, customers for local Cardiff and Valleys routes must use Cardiff Queen Street station
  • Post-match queueing systems will be in place at Cardiff Central (for mainline services) and at Cardiff Queen Street (for local Cardiff and Valleys services)

Please use Cardiff Central for the following destinations

  • Birmingham
  • Bristol
  • Crewe
  • Ebbw Vale
  • Gloucester
  • London

Cardiff Queen Street

Please use Cardiff Queen Street for the following destinations;

  • Barry Island, Penarth, Rhoose, Llantwit Major.  Radyr via the City line , Cardiff Bay 
  • Rhymney Valley: Caerphilly, connecting services to Ystrad Mynach, Bargoed and Rhymney.  Stations to Coryton 
  • Taff Valley: Pontypridd and connecting services to Merthyr Tydfil, Aberdare and Treherbert.
